In order to remove a traffic ticket from your driving record, you will ultimately have to request permission from Young County to take this course. Also, you will need to complete the application and sign an affidavit (both of which can be found on the county website).

- Request permission to take this course by the appearance date as shown on your ticket, either in person or by mail. Also, include:
- Court administrative fees
- A copy of your driving record
- A completed copy of the affidavit (with a notarized signature)
- Proof of a non-commercial (CDL) TX driver's license
- A copy of your insurance record
- You cannot possess a CDL
- You may not have been cited for driving 25mph or more over the posted speed limit
- You cannot have had a ticket dismissed within the past year
- You must admit guilt, or sign a plea of "not guilty" regarding your ticket
- You must submit your certificate of completion within 90 days of receiving permission to take the course
